Some meteoroids that fell on Earth had a Martian and Lunar origin. Most probably, they were jettisoned into space by the impact of other space rocks on Mars and the Moon. About 134 lunar and 132 Martian meteorites have been found till date. Most meteorites are 4. 55 billion years old; almost the same age as that of the solar system. Some may even be older than the Earth. Most of them are named after their place of fall. The earliest reported observation of a meteorite in human history, is in the Parian chronicle, dating back to 1478 BC, which mentions the fall of a Fireball over the island of Crete. In 1794, a German physicist and musician, Ernst Florens Friedrich Chladni, now known as the father of meteoritics and acoustics, was the first to suggest the extraterrestrial origin of meteorites, through his published book. Of course, he was mocked at that time, for this suggestion. However, within a decade, after further work by British chemist Edward Howard and French scientist Jean Baptiste Biot, the theory was widely accepted.

Marx and Engels provided a method of analysing society which has been of enormous fecundity. This has been shown in every generation since the method was first outlined in The German Ideology in 1846. Every pronouncement of the death of Marxism by bourgeois ideologues has been proved wrong within a decade or so by a new range of Marxist studies of society, the economy and history. Yet when it has come to spelling out what exactly is the Marxist approach there has been enormous confusion, with Marxists saying apparently contradictory things. The confusion centres around the couplet base and superstructure. Marx wrote in the Preface to A Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy of 1857 that the economic structure of society forms the real basis on which rises a legal and political superstructure.

When parties have agreed to the expedited procedure pursuant to Article 302, subparagraph b, the scales for the expedited procedure will apply. 4All amounts fixed by the Court or pursuant to any of the appendices to the Rules are payable in US$ except where prohibited by law or decided otherwise by the Court, in which case the ICC may apply a different scale and fee arrangement in another currency. The following are examples of case management techniques that can be used by the arbitral tribunal and the parties for controlling time and cost. Appropriate control of time and cost is important in all cases. In cases of low complexity and low value, it is particularly important to ensure that time and costs are proportionate to what is at stake in the dispute. a Bifurcating the proceedings or rendering one or more partial awards on key issues, when doing so may genuinely be expected to result in a more efficient resolution of the case. c Identifying issues to be decided solely on the basis of documents rather than through oral evidence or legal argument at a hearing. i requiring the parties to produce with their submissions the documents on which they rely;ii avoiding requests for document production when appropriate in order to control time and cost;iii in those cases where requests for document production are considered appropriate, limiting such requests to documents or categories of documents that are relevant and material to the outcome of the case;iv establishing reasonable time limits for the production of documents;v using a schedule of document production to facilitate the resolution of issues in relation to the production of documents. e Limiting the length and scope of written submissions and written and oral witness evidence both fact witnesses and experts so as to avoid repetition and maintain a focus on key issues. f Using telephone or video conferencing for procedural and other hearings where attendance in person is not essential and use of IT that enables online communication among the parties, the arbitral tribunal and the Secretariat of the Court. g Organizing a pre hearing conference with the arbitral tribunal at which arrangements for a hearing can be discussed and agreed and the arbitral tribunal can indicate to the parties issues on which it would like the parties to focus at the hearing.
